For the Grandparents - It's Millie Time

Today Miss Millie is four months old. At her 4 month appointment in DC, she weighed in at 14 lbs and 3 ounces (gained 4 lbs in 2 months) and measured 25 inches long (grew 2.5 inches in 2 months). She continues to thrive, be happy and constantly learning. She has recently discovered her feet and spends most of her waking moments grabbing and holding her toes (her yoga teacher would be so impressed by her flexibility). She also is developing her hand eye coordination and so when she goes to grab a toy (or your nose, earring, hair, etc) she usually makes contact on the first try. She is not rolling over yet but tolerates tummy time for much longer intervals than ever before. She seems to be developing into a bookworm also as her legs kick wildly at the first glance of her book. Hopefully she'll have the same reaction when the cover of her book reads Physics 101 (if she is anything like her mom, this definitely won't happen). This weekend Millie will go on her first safari!

Check the photo album link on the right to see more recent pictures of her.

  1. Thanks for the Millie update. We love all the details of her recent development. I said it thousand times before, but have to say it again-what a beautiful girl!!!Millie is sooo curious about her surroundings, I would not be surprised that she knew the words in her books before she starts to talk. What a joy! Kisses & hugs. GM Yen
